The Risk Matrix module is designed to systematically assess and document risks associated with various hazards that a facility might face. By identifying the likelihood and impact of different hazards, this module helps in creating a comprehensive risk profile for the facility.

Description

The Risk Matrix module allows users to input details about potential hazards based on the facility's historical exposure to such risks. Users can select hazards from a predefined list, determine the likelihood and impact of each hazard, and generate a risk matrix. This process helps in visualizing and prioritizing risks, enabling informed decision-making for risk mitigation. Additionally, the module supports the development of an annual hazard likelihood calendar, providing a structured approach to anticipating and planning for potential emergencies. The generated risk matrix and related reports can be exported in various formats for documentation and further analysis.

How to navigate

Enter your facility name and location, then geotag it by clicking on the map. In the next section, add hazards based on your facility’s past or potential exposure, and select the likelihood and impact for each, the risk level will be auto-generated. Once all hazards and their risks are entered, click Generate to view the facility’s risk matrix. To build the annual hazard likelihood calendar, select each hazard and assign its likelihood month by month. After you’ve completed this for all hazards, save your entries and export/download your customized risk matrix and annual hazard calendar – these will support risk-informed planning for your facility.
